Looking good mate, better that Williams arse too.

I like the Fan shroud - details?
Size of the Fans?
You made it from scratch or purchased it?
How did you attached it?
Any way, good work.

Looking good!
Shroud looks a lot like mine.
People talked about putting holes and flaps in it to help airflow whilst driving, but mine has been perfect, even on 40 degree days.

Re: Hellanor
The guy who is doing my wiring organised the shroud. His cousin made it. I dont have any info yet, just got it back on Saturday. I do know it moves a heap of air.boofhead wrote:I like the Fan shroud - details?

Re: Hellanor
It is very neat. My only input was specifying stainless over alloy. It's all baffled on the inside as well. The price is about $650.00 including the supply of the 2 fans.
Re: Hellanor
I found a bloke in Vic who was selling sheet alloy, as I was originally going to make mine myself.
His ad said he could bend to shape etc too, so I sent him a diagram.
I think total cost for the shroud was $70.
I got it home and cut the holes for the fans and mounted them myself.

Re: Hellanor
You can polish a turd, there just isn't much point to it. It will still be a turd.

I found you cannot polish a turd (to get a good shine), but you can put glitter on it .......soc123_au wrote:You can polish a turd, there just isn't much point to it. It will still be a turd.
