I found you cannot polish a turd (to get a good shine), but you can put glitter on it .......

Good to see it is still ticking over. I don't believe I have ever read of SW's behind being used as a measure for cable or distance.; I need to get out more. I could see it being used in terms of counter-balance weight requirements on those big sucker cranes though. Pinto Pete, is an SW known to the heavy lift world? IE, you need to stack 4 SW's to lift a 450tonne load.

It is a surprisingly accurate unit of measure. Equal to 38265296350011447 bees dicks (Caucasian bee - length not girth) Give or take a gnat's nut. If you only have access to african bees then the magic number is 1225.7

Just waiting on a few odds & ends to finish the wiring. Mainly another vacuum pump. I need a little one to run the flaps for the a/c. The vacuum from the engine wont do the job. It should arrive in the next few days. Apart from that its only really adjusting the kickdown & then finish putting it together.

The march continues. Starting to resemble a finished car for the first time ever.

Just finish the crap inside the car. a/c ducting, finish the mods to the console & then button up the last few wiring bits for the suspension & then put the rest of the dash together & the rest of the trims.

Still got to get the carpet made as well.

There is still quite a bit of fiddly shit, adjusting cables, tune etc. make a cold air intake, plenum setup as a filter as I have no bonnet clearance.

Finally on the downhill run though.

Your sump must be holder her up. She is so low and your intake so high. I would not think it would stay under the standard E bonnet. The front needs an alignment - at least looks that way from the photo. Any way, good to hear of the progress. Give me a bell if I can help at all.

Looks like a few Cars might be completed this year. Need new projects to start.
I will someday think of something clever to say.
