Was I too subtle :poke: :poke: i need a painter :cheer:

all fitted up, 2k primer on the nose, hood still in gelcoat. Not to sure whats next but I think the hood will need some blocking and pin hole filler before being primed. Then satin or GMH black to the back of the panels before paint.

GMH black is crap if you want black in the bay use black base coat with hardener in it but no clear. but you would want it blue on the underside of the hood?

SELL 8O NEW OWNER :(
Just not driving as much as I would like, so may look at selling to get another classic that I may use more (wife says no room for 2 classics). Failing that i'll put the car on club rego next year and see what happens. Thats also why I have the conundrum of how far to go with painting the new parts or full respray.
But how do you think you'll use another classic more , if your not using this 1 enough? Unless your thinking of a '67 Camaro or '67 Impala Fastback , I implore you to hold onto this one. I can be at your house kicking your ass in under an hour you know! :poke: :sarcasm:

hopefully going to paint this week :joy: was thinking silver ghost stripes, but what is the procedure for this? A pic of the outdoor spray booth

also got one of these pre-relayed harnesses of ebay. There doesn't seem to be enough length from the positive hookup to first lamp (via the factory hole in Radiator support) anyone have experience with these? the H4 plug wont fit through the hole either. May need some help on Sunday Dono. You still going?

hooked up the new harness, but no Hi-beam. Lights go off all together but indash indicator is illuminated. Swapped around relays but same effect. I thought both hi & lo were working before the swap.?? maybe th headlight switch or dimmer switch ? Any way of checking this (short of buying some new ones)

problem with headlights may have been tracked back to dimmer switch. Not to sure. Meeting Donoauto at Casino tomorrow to check it out. Meanwhile spent yesterday arvo putting the front back together. Got a little paint left over to blend tops of the guards and cowl panel. Good face match but flop is not so good. Happy enough for me. Looking at the pic I now need a GT-350 Grill emblem. Who sells them in Aus??
