Thanks Fellas. Been a very long road. Kerry do a need a balance pipe for performance, noise or otherwise? The flowmasters are really loud ,so might be back to the exhaust shop.

IMO, a balance pipe helps with the noise reduction. Not much, but it does reduce it.

A pair of resonator's as well the balance pipe should take the bark out of it ....

When I bought my car it failed the initial rego check for noise. A balance pipe dropped it be 3Db and just got it over the line.

And speaking of noise, is 92 db still the limit for cars this age ?

Maybe post a video of it running and we can tell you if we think it is too noisey or not. ;)
