Can someone tell me what finish the grill should have on my car. It came matt/satin black, but after some driving the finish looks thin and starting to discolour. I have some gloss black rust guard at home or should I buy a can of something else.

Looking good Mark, like the bonnet.

Just got my latest shipment, some GT350 emblems. One question .what holds them in place? they only have rubber stops on the back and the pins are not threaded.

There are normally some push on clip thingies.
Have you taken the rubber bits off?

There's not some springy bits or something on the pins to hold them in place?

3/16 bullet clips hold them on

Push on clips is what I was thinking to, but there was nothing else sent. the rubber bits come off easy and are to large to squeeze into the holes on the grill, but too loose when you push them on the back

That badge is on the trunk lid, so cannot get behind it. Ones on the front fenders can use the flat rectangular clips, but if buying the bullets for the trunk, may as well have them all the same way.

Thanks Kerry, all 3 emblems have the same type pins. will get some of those bullet clips (same as what held the hood letters in place on my old XP Falcon from memory) may have some in the shed still.
Impressive response time !!

If you don't already have holes in the panels for the badges and don't want to drill new ones, snip the pins off and use a good quality double sided tape to stick them on.

It does make it easier for someone to nick the badges but they do less damage to your paint and panel trying to pry them off and it is one less spot for rust to start.

The first emblem is for the grill, the other 2 are decklid and dash (wont get to them till next year. I like the idea of some double sided tape, but just need to secure the grill one so it doesnt rattle off. The guard emblems are the smaller rectangular ones, but I think they use these ones on some Eleanors.
