Also, doing mean to be a pain in the ozbuilt. But after cages' bump i went to re-read the thread again and alot of the pictures links are broken. If you get the time - and i know its annoying - but would you mind editing and rehosting?

Threads just arnt the same without pics.

Going to spend some time fixing it all up, she's getting there, certainly no trailer queen but as she's going to be a daily driver that was never the intention. Body work is nearly complete, all mechanicals are in and fixed up, just need electrical and exhaust and then some dash board work to fit the climate control & cruise control modules and the fairmont instrument cluster...never thought I would say it but very little left to purchase and well under budget. Bet I get pinged going thru registration and have to spend some cash fixing.

Sounds like a plan JC, will need an engineer and an xray of the drag link.

Got a friend who is going to scrutineer it prior to taking it to the pits as he worked at the dept of transport checking cars for years, so hopefully he picks up 99% of things and the remainder will be little bits and pieces.

The whole steering and front suspension is off an xy falcon, bolted right up with only a could of mods. I had heard the drag link needed x-rating to ensure it's not fractured etc.

The draglink only needs xray if it has been cut and welded or heated and bent.
So you havent shortened the XY drag link to the same length as the original 67 length? What mods did you do , shorten tie rods?
