Tell that to the pommys... they love the old strokers over there. They pay silly money for them. A good 500 will fetch over 10k pounds.

In any case... like my Mustang, I couldn't care what others think of the bikes. The RD was given to me by a mate for my first bike to learn on, and I couldn't help but modify it.
I always wanted a 500 stroker (I always watched the 500 GPs back in the day), and when I finally got one (RZ500) I was so disappointed in the handling, I decided to spend 20k turning it into a YZR instead.

I love the sound, smell and performance characteristics of the 2stroke. I had a new VTR1000SP1 also, but ended up selling that and keeping the 2strokes. The 500 is pretty scary when it comes on the power... just the way I like it.

Too suicidal for me... I will stick with the sedate 45 horses from the 750 Walla thanks 8)

Yeah, the PO prior to the guy I am buying it off started doing a bobber conversion I think as the front wheel is a it of a give away. Although it is the original hub, the rim was changed and respoked. The seat was obviously also altered to sit low.

Ummm, not quite Scott. The frame will be standard black. It will just be the fenders, tanks and not much else that will be blue...

Try the third picture...

LMFAO re the "homo" comment Matt...!

Sorry, but that might mean I come out of the closet although I see your point on matching to the bike colour.

Appreciate the offer for support (parts that is, not the homo thing) :poke:

Was the "poke" icon the wrong one to use then
