so thought i would share some pics of how the progress has gone and where its up to

Transmission was going to stay in place but i figured it would be a nice chance to clean it off, i only wish i took before shots, it was more of a black/charcoal grey before I cleaned it off

next step now cams back from holidays is get the box attached to the engine and drop it all in. Running by the end of this week is what Im hoping since mine arrives home late this week

yep mike i was reluctant to see it get sprayed black but its come up great, and solves my problems of searching for oil leaks as i will no longer be able to see them :D might take a few more side/lower shots of it

I did mine black too. It really makes the alloy bits stand out.

maybe swap that fan for a flexolite or similar also?
looks the part, loe seeing befores and afters of peoples projects

Not a fan of flex fans personally (excuse the pun).
One my family had actually flattened out at higher rpm and hindered natural flow through the radiator.

later on down the track will try convince cam to go for an electric option, im a big fan of them and really cleans up the engine bay albeit some extra wiring

could have gone for some of your famous home brews nassi :( but otherwise i keep a pretty strict no drinking while working ethic.
