3.5-3.7 diff if you have an over drive I reckon. Jaguar used this set up all through the 50's, 60's & 70's on OD. My old 3.8 S type, with a quick engine runs a 3.54 diff 4 speed with laycock over drive, cruises at 85-90mph all day till you get caught, and is quick off the line top speed over 130, never really ever wound it out. Best car I have ever owned, needs a repainting now last painted 92, have collected some E type front brakes etc for it. next job once my 67 is going get the jag back on the road. Car has been featured in about 3 magazines in the 90's/2000's
