Re: Marques in the Park (Canberra)
That gives you 9 Days to rest the knee.
seriously if you are still hobbling around and want to delay the work I can live with that.
Also if we go with the 16 Nov - take your time - no need to push to be ready in time for the qbyn show
looking forward to a wash/polish/detail day tomorrow - very tic
cheers

Re: Marques in the Park (Canberra)
hey Nuts,
was watching a show today called search and restore.
They are fixing up a 66 pony real nice.
The thing that got my attention is the new boss 302 block stroker motor.
they are/have dropped the 347 and are now out to 363
they built the motor to be a good reliable street unit.
440hp and 418 ft lbs
cheers

Re: Marques in the Park (Canberra)
Interesting, the after market ford boss 302 Windsor block was design with short bores so they restricted themselves to a 347 using the 4.125" bore and the 331 crank (3.25") as they said the bore was to short to support the piston when using the 347 crank (3.4") so when combined with the 4.125" bore means a 363. I wonder if they have changed the casting or not.
I will someday think of something clever to say.
Re: Marques in the Park (Canberra)
Yep watched it myself. Big engine from a little package. I think they used a Dart SHP 302 block.

Damn, does not sound good. Hope it wasn't Andrew's car that caused the injuryNuts wrote:

Re: Marques in the Park (Canberra)
Of course it was Andrews car that stuffed my knee. At least that's what the Doctor says. Even gave me a doctors cert "avoid playing with Buttercup"!!
He owes me a Burger!!! No sauce thanx Andrew, a little salt and lots of black pepper!!
I believe satin black is the requirement.

Re: Marques in the Park (Canberra)
Hey guys and gals,
Was nice to meet up with you today.
some very nice cars in the park.
On the way home entering the Parkway at the Hindmarsh Drive ramp heading to Civic was a beautiful deep royal blue coloured possible 1970 Mach 1 being driven by a cowboy hat wearing female.
Or so my passenger tells me as my eyes were on the road
Nuts - just after lunch on Thursday good for you to knock those pins out of the rear quarter windows
Cheers

Re: Marques in the Park (Canberra)
The 363 that Woody has just built me is in a Ford racing Boss 302 block. He might be the man to speak to about whether the casting has changed or not.boofhead wrote:Interesting, the after market ford boss 302 Windsor block was design with short bores so they restricted themselves to a 347 using the 4.125" bore and the 331 crank (3.25") as they said the bore was to short to support the piston when using the 347 crank (3.4") so when combined with the 4.125" bore means a 363.
