You should come to WSID with me next time I go.
Won't be until the weather is a lot colder (April or something).

Yeah definitely. Will need to get some better tires before then. I hate shifting hard though ha ha, makes me wince with the wimpy T5.
There is a motorkhana event I'd like to do around the april time too with my old skyline club.

Mate the shop did the engine/tranny build/install. It's only a small leak but I'd like to get on top of it now.

Look, it's not quick quick by any means. I have driven some pretty fast cars and this isn't a fast car. But then again it a pretty stock motor really. Judging by AU XR8's that have similar mods and cam, they are making anywhere from 240-270rwhp depending on a few different factors. But I guess we will find out soon.

I can see myself supercharging this thing in the near future if I can find a decently priced Kenne Bell piece.
Given its a one piece seal engine my bet is on the fly wheel bolts which is an easier fix, and often overlooked, but still a box out job, unless of course its coming from the back of the manifold or rocker covers.

And you blokes say I write long posts. Power to the long posters I say!

Nice work on the car. It looks nice an neat which generally is an indication of a lot of thinking and good workmanship. Just one thing, those wheels. They don't really suit the car and you should sell them- to me for instance ;-)

Go bug Hybrid, he has the same wheels :spoton:

Thanks for the kind words. A lot of though and research was put in to the overall mechanical build and match up of parts. The exterior of the car is still a 10 footer though, does look good in pictures but.

Yeah still got the PCV.
The PCV now goes to this, and then back to the intake.

I was starting to think that I was "in touch with my feminine side", then I remembered that I liked the early hardtops (64 1/2 - 68) because that is what was racing here when I was involved in the sport ...... 8O

Glad I can still remember something ......
