And that is all I was aiming for. Just completing the drop job with the ball joint's resting angle back where it should be.
However I can see that if I drove it hard there is the other safety benefit to be considered.

Hi All
When you make these changes is there someone in the Melbourne area with the knowledge that can perform a good wheel alignment on these older cars?

This is the only place I would go. Rob Tuckett is the guru on aligning these old girls, MOCA member and Mustang racer.

Hastings is a fair hike from Geelong but you could put the car on the ferry at Queenscliff across to Sorrento and cruise up the Mornington Peninsula.

If it's too far it would still be worth a chat with Rob on the phone. He is very helpful.
