It would be nice if that "open loop" map was tune-able. I'd be much more comfortable with it.
It would be even better if you could say "the car ran perfectly this run, so I want to transfer this live tune to the open loop tune"

I will someday think of something clever to say.

It's huge. But I can fit it here, there's plenty of room..

Not exactly... you can't do that via EGO correction. Only when you're auto tuning. But yeah.. this concept of just using the O2 sensor to do EGO correction over a default map doesn't sit well with me.

You can't put it up the front anywhere?

That exhaust is going to make sure the fuel in that tank stays very hot. Especially being a return less system.

I'd put it in the battery spot and put the battery in the boot.

I do worry a lot you're right. I just think regardless of airflow, the exhaust manifolds are going to really heat it up there. I don't want you to have a drama later which could be the result of hot fuel.

That engine bay is way too clean... you need to stuff heaps more in there!

Wouldn't want it to spring a leak either if it's sitting above the exhaust.

Yeah, but that could be said of any fuel system really. Even the standard pump location is right beside the exhaust.
