Pull it out and Ill give you hand, Ive got a nicer cam here as well more suited to it, was a custom one of Boofs Expensive cam to have made you can have it for what I gave boof, was trying to help him out with $ when he was sick. If it needs a couple of sleeves its no biggy. It picked up the pistons once I dont think it ever had enough clearance, it maybe piston on the wall. I hate pre built Crate engines have said that before?

oooh A fraction meatier that the one I currently have, Hmm 500HP 363?

My existing springs are probably good for the job as well. Unsure how well it would play with the AOD (I currently have a 2800 stall)

Just try it, think it will be ok. whats the diff ratio, these are bullet lobes so plenty of area under the curve. It will wake it up.

Kind of, I got an Inverse roller cam made by Jones cams to try, suppose to make max power at 6900, if I dont like it I'll put a solid roller Lunati oval track cam in it one the ones below, that will sort it out.

OK so I just went and picked up the 2nd head from testing. The cylinder head guy wants me to try another set of head gaskets but this time use copper spray on the gaskets.

From what I've read that copper spray is a bad idea on any sort or modern head gasket, any thoughts?

On MLS gaskets I've used them. Not on normal headgasket. What gaskets have you got?

looking at trying a set of stock replacement Felpro FE8548PT-2 mainly due to cost, if they fix it then I will replace with something better.

I'm a head gasket swapping pro now :-)

So these are teflon coated, Felpro will void warranty if used with copper spray.

Yeah I wouldn't use copper spray. Like I said I've only used it on cometic mls gaskets, and never heard of it being used on a stock gasket. Don't know why you would need any sealer on a stock style gasket?

What bore size is it at the moment? I am using the felpro 9333pt1's. They are cheap, and awesome. Probably have the best reviews on any gasket I've seen. They handle boost no dramas. All the mustang guys in the states use them on boosted and high performance motors. Can't see it having any dramas on yours. I got mine from Rockauto, cost about $60aud delivered. I actually bought 2 sets, cause it's 21aud for the gaskets and 39 for the shipping. I would offer you my set, but I'm changing heads in a couple days.
