Yeah...not a good idea but I had to quickly cut a cable tie
Re: flo"RIDA" 65 A code mustang ute
maybe we should start a joint thread on them, rather than poach around here.
i can hear a set of kelsey hayes coming my way.
Mine is actually for sale, but no-one wants to pay the money..they all want to pay triple to get someone to equal the standard of mine.

Jas...i would love to mate but unfortunitly..my back is taost. I think this will be my last build. I still have the 55 roadster mercedes to finish and I have no idea how Im going to achive this. Near the end of John's 68 is when it played up and thats why the build on John's car pretty well came to a holt.jas24zzk wrote:you wanna come over and do my XL uterus?
Without Sheri to help with the ute, I just simply couldnt do it. Allthough Johns car was more maticulous, the ute hasnt been built the same way.
Johns car has a lot more detail.
Theres not much difference but I know what could still be done to be 100%
The ute went together alot quicker as I didnt have to stop and sandblast this and paint that and wait for paint to dry as it was allready done...just had to install it...didnt have to rebuild and engine either...that was a big help

Your back is only toast if you want it to be.
roughly ten years ago, i was strugling to turn up to work each day due my back.....i am 39 now.......do the sums.
Best thing i ever did was forget the chiropractor and see a decent remedial masseur, coupled with a decent physio.
Between the two, they taught me to manage my back and keep me out of the shit. I was one of those people that could not even wake in the AM to turn off the alarm, it hurt too much. Most back problems are Muscle related. Even those that have slipped discs etc are manageable if you can manage the muscle groups.
I might be a dumb panel beater, but i have been managing my back problems since i fell off a motorbike 22 years ago. Expert advice has worked for me.

couldnt agree more Jas, I stuffed mine moving full Grocery shelves as a young fella and that coupled with to many years of football and 20 odd years in the large box retalier moving pallets and pallets of stock. Monthly even fortnightly tune ups is the only way I keep moving. Have a couple of great remidial massures.jas24zzk wrote:Your back is only toast if you want it to be.
Also, like the roots to a tree a lot of back concerns start at the feet so you need it all in order otherwise one muscle group just pulls another the wrong way. At 38 now I am still running 2 or 3 times a week and this year run two charity fun runs raising money for sick kids.
I had a 60 year old Baker who worked for me in another retailer and now his wife works for me. She was complianing he was always in pain and would get cranky as he couldnt do anything as it hurt. 60 years old and a beig fella, he went once after a mouthful from me and pain was gone in one session, discomfort was stioll there but pain was gone. He has been back 3 or 4 times over a few weeks and this last weekend went out shopping with the little lady for the first time in years with no pain. His missus say's he is a new man now........I said enough info thanks :rotfl:
but all said and done thats just my experience and Matt you have nothing to loose, your still a young guy.
Cheers,

+ 1 on the massures. I had hip problems for years, kept popping out, and keeped going to a chiro till he gave up. Went and saw a football trainer who did deep muscle massages. 3 visits later, all fixed, did not go back for 3 years!!! whenever it goed out, 3 visits and its fixed. Highly reccommend it
Re: flo"RIDA" 65 A code mustang ute
Advice taken fellas
UPDATE
2 days before the turkey run the car has been stripped back down and is being repainted at the last minute. It is now a darker candy red (one that I wanted in the first place)
Next 2 days are going to be HELL.
Thanksgiving on Thursday and I will be working all of it putting the car back together.
Ford magazine are doing a photo shoot of the car after seeing it at the ponys under the palms car show this last weekend. Photographer allready has photos of it but wants to do a photo shoot on Daytona beach on saturday at the turkey rod run
If I can get the paint the way "I" want it...the car ticks every box for me. It was its only let down...sorry Im FN fussy
Next 2 days we will know
Matt

Re: flo"RIDA" 65 A code mustang ute
Took me almost 12 months to get mine to where it is today.
The masseur I was seeing, rented a room at my physio's I was visiting monthly at the time, and my regular physio went on 12 months holiday. (and i've never seen him since)
I went in one day, all twisted up, and the temp took a look at it. I went back 3 days later for the follow up, and the temp said he'd made me an appointment to see the masseur. I saw her every week, and the physio on the 4th week. In 3 months, I wasn't seeing the physio for a manipulation at all...maybe every 7 weeks, and he'd just pop in during my massage, no charge.
After a while we were able to open the massage treatment out to fortnightly then monthly, and now as required (about twice a year)
I went from losing 2-3 days per month, to losing none.
90% of peoples back probs are muscular....get it tended before it gets worse.
To me a chiro is lil more than a certified witch doctor.

Re: flo"RIDA" 65 A code mustang ute
Gotta add my agreement here.
Cant do anything about my dicky knee (except for McArthurs cream) but the massage i get for my shoulder works magic.
It was almost frozen until i was convinced to see the massage lady who looks after all the girls at my daughters gymnastics club.
Only need to go about 3 times a year now unless i do something silly.

Re: flo"RIDA" 65 A code mustang ute
there are some crap masseur's out there too boys. Some can do more damage so if taking our advice I am sure the others would agree do some reserch on a GOOD one in your area.
Telling signs are lots of sports people use them, associated with a physio ect and you need a remedial masseur not just as masseur.
I disagree I still like a chiro tune up 6 monthly or yearly. Like to feel the cracking and the stretching of the spine. However I stand by a good masseur is BEST!!!!
