Been busy lately. Have lots of pics of the Yamba & Armidale rodruns to put up. For now, here's a bit of video footage from Armidale of my Stang & my mates 632ci MonteCarlo at the "skidpan" (dedicated Fire & Emergency services training ground). In the video where I'm the passenger filming inside my mates car, we started with brand new Yokohama's & 90 seconds later they were completely bald - a quick way to kill $500.
I went up to Armidale with bugger all rear tyres left & had to make it 3 1/2 hours back home to Yamba so I was - all things considered - fairly sedate.









edit: can someone help me fix these links so the little video box comes up? I just copied the address in the main address bar & then pasted them into the "youtube" icon thingy when composing a message. Always used to work...........

Mark, I would get your steering box and control value checked in the steering. The car seems to be pulling a little to the left, then right, then right around left, then a bit more left, then a bigggg power slide to the right.

And your mate should have his accelerator linkage checked for kinks. Tt seems to be stuck to the floor!

Was down at Coffs Harbour last weekend for the "Lazy Winter Cruise" hot rod run. Met Peter aka Envy66 Sat. arvo & talked all things Mustang. We were both introduced to Troy Hilliers father. Anyone who read Street Machine in the last 20 years would remember Troy's name. Filthy nice XP project & good at making 2 door coupes out of various models of Falcons - google image his stuff. Troy's Dad is undergoing a '66 Mustang coupe project which no doubt will come out show stopping!

Well , it's on again this weekend. Any Coffs (or nearby) fella's want to catch up - Friday arvo @ Park beach holiday park , Sat morning at Home Base car park for static display (feel free to stick yours in , all welcome) , Sat arvo drinking heavily at the park. We usually hang out just inside the front entrance , at the kiddies area , so they can play & we can drink........no-one get the paedophile idea about our meeting place , OK!
