Well done Matt, beautiful work and in record time as well, car looks amazing
Re: Green Machine. The return of the "Madden"
Matt,
Get your back sorted. We need people of your ilk working stateside. I can imagine that John was pretty comfortable that you were doing the right thing by the project all along and money can't buy that peace of mind.
High fives for Sheri as well, it seems she has a decent hand in most of your work too. I can't even get my other half to clean out the kids food scraps in her car!
I just remembered that I saw a guy here in Sydney build a 65/66 ute about 15 years ago. It was western Sydney somewehere but no idea where or who. Maybe someone knows. It wasn't at your stage when I saw it but was cut, shut and prepped.

Where do you hail from in Adeliade Matt? My 66 is currently at the folks place at Happy Valley and needs someone to get it road worthy again after sitting for the last 10+ years.
I don't have many photos but do have some video from last Christmas. I should work out how to post that. Should offer some laughs as I try starting it and gasssing everyone out. From memory it was a flattened fuel bowl float screw fibre washer which kept the thing flooding.

No worries Matt, I'm positive i could find a safe place to store the Ute and of course it would be my duty to start it, run it down the local pub on a Sunday thru the beautiful hills of st Andrews for a counter lunch to make sure its running well and all the moving parts are kept lubricatedshermatt wrote:Thanks lewy

Whats the deal with getting a 65 ute registered with a 347/Edelbrock fuel injection/Recaro seats/18 inch wheels/racing fuel cell and pumps and a 5 speed in Melbourne?

Therefore you need to sell it to a bloke in QLD who will rename it "Frankenute""
Re: Green Machine. The return of the "Madden"
Scedd, you think that would slide in QLD?
I might move this to the ute thread. (sorry john...what were you saying?...oh yeah....18 days....You f@@king little ripper)

Congrats, it looks great in your front yard too.
But what are you or whoever it is... doing on the roof of the house?
Aerial photography maybe?
