If you have ever had the pleasure of assembling one of these blasting cabinets, you will know you got the $120 value in labour alone. So many nuts and bolts :argh:
dont worry, after the trip home I found a few of those nuts and bolts on the trailer... I have to go through it and get them all tightened back up.

Yeah I know, about $180 a year and $90 to exchange, BOC do allow you to pay quarterly now, doesn't hurt as much. I gave back my Oxy bottles, but I see you can buy a Map Gas & Oxy setts this would be the go, for brazing etc and heating stuff. The kit is about $300, and the chuck away bottles about $20, I have a single Map gas torch but it's not always hot enough, but with Oxy it would be fine.

Yep, Argon/C02 for the MIG, Argon for the TIG, oxygen & acetylene cylinders in my shop. I always look forward to the rental bill coming in :sarcasm:

In the US, I have oxygen, acetylene, argon & argon/C02 cylinders & I own them. Cost the same to refill as Australia & they run about US$100 - 150 to purchase outright. They now spend their time at my friends place.

Mum works for airliquid... $12 for an E size, and no rental. What's this pain you all talk about?

I'm not sure of the prices but a little while back I was looking through the Gasweld catalogue and they sell you the bottle full of gas. You then take it back and swap when empty. Similar system to bbq bottles.

It is a pain, but I'm stuffed without it. 3 x bootles at $180/year.... the tax man could learn a few tricks from BOC.

I thought there must have been a mistake when she told me the price.
I told her she's not allowed to leave.

Arrrrrrrrrr - I hate you... not really but I would be happy to pay the $100 for the bottle and then refill or swap over when empty. Your deal well..... fantastic - she is a keeper.

BTW: Can I borrow a bottle for some time.... :poke:
