Very frustrating for you.
On that EFI it should be a R&P pump unless the donor car had a box? If so, then it's the pump.

Yeah the pump is brand new, I replaced it when i put the new rack in. Its the original type pump for a 93 Ford V8, same pump that was on the mustangs of that era. From all accounts the pump should be fine pressure wise as its built for a rack system. I have got a heidts power steering valve here, thatll go in next. But at this stage my stang can go and get fucked.

Im back, after a few health issues, im finally able to get to work in the shed. First order of business rip the RRS rack out and send it back for repair or replacement. I reckon this is the 500th time the racks been removed. My apprentice helped me get the stang on the hoist

I picked up a couple of manual drag links and a steering box out of a 68 but I think Im going to try the RRS rack again with the Heidts pwr steering valve. The good folks at RRS tell me that a valve is not needed to lower the pump pressure but im putting it in, The Ford pump obviously has too much pressure for the rack. Hopefully I can get a new rack from RRS asap. Ive lined up a fella to fit the vert top for me, so I hope I can start moving in the right direction and get this on the road.

Havin a bit of fun with wiring over the last week, nearly there. Finished the install of the Classic Auto Air A/C system and today finally fitted the Dakota Digital Dash. Just a few more jobs including fitting the vert top and she will be done
