When is dyno day? Week after next
Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
I might just go straight to the track. It's tuned up to 5500 already, so another 1k rpm should be close enough and I can just tweak it there.
Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
Smart. Boring, but smart.
Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
Sydney dragway next wednesday?
Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
I will put the feelers out.
I know one of the boys is overseas.

Looks like we are a good chance of going tomorrow night if you want to come along Husky.
Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
Yeah I'm in! What's the plan? I was thinking about getting there early, seems to get busy these days
Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
Yeah I'm hoping to get there early-ish... depends when I can get away from work.
I need to get to Merrylands to buy some Meth too. Hopefully can do that at lunch.

Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
Let me know if you can't I have a fair bit of pre mixed here.
Do you take any spare meth there, or no where really to leave it?

Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
I took some last time and didn't end up needing it.
I will probably take my small mixed container and just leave it in the boot.

Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
Ok, so they don't require your car to be completely empty? If so I'll take my spare meth and a tool bag. All I can relate to are track days where your car has to pretty much be stripped down
Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
No it's not like a normal track day. I have never had them open my boot or check the inside.
They look in the engine bay, check your seat belts and I think that's about it.

Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
Who's bringing the holdon radiator hose supplies?
Re: hybrids 1966 Coupe Project
If that hose gets cut again something is seriously wrong. There's an inch+ gap now. I think the hose would be the least of my worries.
