Hey Matt,
How good/bad is the 69 Shelby?
Complete or stripped?
Could be worthwhile as a long term project.

That 1950 Caddy has me drooling a little bit!
(PRAYER) Oh thank you Wild Turkey American Honey & Cola in those small thin bottles, for giving me the strength to act like a half wit, and say stupid things at inappropriate times, semi-anonymously, on a public forum.
Amen.

Re: FLORIDA FINDS
You're not the only one waiting for info on these cars.
Re: FLORIDA FINDS
Just thought I would quickly do an update on this 58 vette that was purchased last week for a client in Adelaide (mwizz)
We’ve had a lot of emails from people asking about it and its probably best just to post everything about the car in one hit so everyone gets the same information
Car was originally advertised for $27,500USD and after flying up there and inspecting the car and probably 4 hours of negotiation, we managed to get the car down in price so that the car would land in either Sydney, Melbourne or Freo for roughly $28,500 (that’s sitting at the port) Roughly $32,000 AUD sitting in your driveway….that’s extremely cheap
Mark (mwizz) was offered on the day by myself, that if he didn’t want the car, I would buy it instead as it was dirt cheap (although it’s a project…its still cheap….and a restoration doesn’t scare me at all). After talking with the Mark and the seller for that 4hours, Mark decided to pull the trigger.
A few days later, Mark decided to take me up on the offer of buying the car as he was unsure if he could restore the car with the skills he had, but I had already purchased a 65 vette and a 68 Shelby clone so I was now in no way to be able to afford the 58 vette as well. (which kinda sucks, as Id prefer the 58 over the Shelby clone)
Long story short, Mark needs to find a new home for the vette so he’s not out of pocket and nor am I. The price is AWESOME and you wont find another for this price. Finished, these cars fetch insane money and in Oz….. aren’t they selling around $100K?...some of them are in the $70’s over here
If I sell one of the cars that I have recently purchased over here locally, I’m going to buy Mark out and do it myself. Marks happy and the world keeps spinning
If you want the car, its already got an import approval in the process, the cars in LA with FREE transport to the warf, its been inspected and all ready to go…which state is up to you.

Make no mistake, the car is a project car…it will need restoration. Car currently has a 350, is missing the spare wheel/jack and tail shaft. The 2 chrome strips that run on top of the centre guards are missing. The car does run but the fuel in the tank is bad and was connected to a fresh can of fuel direct to the fuel pump to get it running. (as seen in the inspection video)
Frame rails will need some repairs but all sections that need attention are on flat areas so it’s a matter of cutting out the rusty sections and replacing with new steel. If you’re only good with a set of nail clippers and sticky tape….This is NOT the car for you…it’s a project!
To do a right hand drive conversion on this car would be EXTREMELY easy.

If you have any more questions, its best to call me on 0011-1-727 364 8707. Im currently inundated with emails. A phone call is ALLWAYS guaranteed to get me. Best time to call is 4am-11am Adelaide time. Its evening over here in Florida
I really hope someone from Oz, can help us out to find a new home for the vette. For everyone that has contacted us so far in regards to Marks post, I hope this additional information helps
Cheers
