Good update.

GBX - look 3inch pulley - you need multi-stage nitrous now... :poke:
Woooò cool!! Can't wait to see how it goes thats a big jump. Im good. Next step for me is my cog drive then similar to hybrids water injection but prob meth (might have access to it through dad) or a billet impeller same as hybrid and stronger bearings ..then once i split my block after all that lol ..the 363 can go in... youre evil boof really evil

Meth alone is not as good as meth/alcohol + water for heat absorption.
I haven't decided to pull the trigger yet.

Fair amount of re-tuning would be required too. My tuning area only goes up to 8PSI I think, so would have to re-hash all that.

when I setup gbx's initial tune I went to 1 bar boost (14.7psi) but knowing G he will want 1.5 bar....
I will someday think of something clever to say.

I tried to stay as close as possible to what my max was going to be so I had the most resolution possible for tuning.

Absolutely right - in GBX case novi2000 I thought would be close to 1 bar - we do not know as not logged a very hard run though 10 has happened.

I bit the bullet and pulled the radiator out so I could mount the pump.

I was sent a 1/4" solenoid instead of a 1/8" solenoid, so waiting on a replacement one.
I will try and get hold of a 1/8" NPT tap tomorrow so I can install the hobbs switch and the nozzle in the supercharger hat.

I'm going to decide tomorrow whether to get the pulley or not. There's a good chance I will have to change the belt as well.

Happy to help boof... I'm only doing it to keep you entertained. Not because I can't help myself :snigger:

So just for you, I pulled the trigger on the 3" pulley this morning. For $130 it was hard to say no. Cheapest horsepower you'll find really.
I will probably have to buy a new belt I think. But that's ok, I can get a gates 8rib Micro-V for $39.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up breaking my AOD input shaft now, but we'll see.

Your the man Hybrid. As Robbie Williams states - "let me entertain you".
Go right ahead.

I am looking forward to the logs.

BTW: you must be closing in on 600hp after this next phase of mods....whats next?

Lots of superglue or a new block?

That will be entertaining but I think he will be fine.
Most broken blocks are due to bad balance and/or bad tune.

now the torques he is putting down could break something and he knows it...

really looking forward to this. was reading one guy dyno'd before and after and gained 80hp on his boosted 5.0 from water/meth. thats insane for just a pump, injector, controller and tank

heres a cool explaining basic principals behind this for those new to it.

boosted, 3.0" pulley, water injected, 347 ...you are the king mate!! hurry up and finish it so we can go for a drive!!

Bought a 1/8 NPT tap on the way home from work today, so while the Mrs was still out, I took the hat off the throttle body and did some work.
Tapped from the inside for the nozzle, and from the outside for the hobbs switch.
The 3rd fitting is an existing one for my idle control valve.

So now I just need the tank and the right size solenoid valve and it should be good to go.
