If you don't need low speed, you can get rid of the resistor.
In the plug, one wire goes straight to the motor (high speed), and the other wire goes through the resistor.

So if you only want single speed, the resistor can go.

rough trim test fit will fit propely later with flat to rad going to use the orig plug hole for thermo adjuster

seems it will fit may have to use button head allen allen key bolts for pully and maybe trim the nose of the pump shaft but overall it will look good and function great

At least if you still have the overheating, you can rule out the fan.

havnt put it in yet im still fitting it properly ang having the rad rodded and tanked

so got the core back about a little under half were blocked, not bad, but enough to slow flow fan just fits with about 10mm gap between fan pully bolts and and motor

That's fine mate. Nothing should move that much. If it does you've got issues.

yep its a ba/fg fan pretty much just trimmed it top and bottom , cut around the hoses and bolted it to the rad ill use some foam tape between if needed but space is tight so if you have an aluminum rad just check your thickness once I have mounted it i'll post more pics, as I have put my thermo control where the 2 speed plug used to go
