Having ordered the scissor lift via the group buy on the forum,

The next step to dig and form up the in-ground pits for the scissor lifts has been completed. There was a lot of clay taken out of those holes and in return nearly another cubic meter of concrete is to go back in.

Now waiting for the concrete.

A significant mile stone in the creation of the new home for the Coupe and the Ute has been achieved this week. The concrete slab has been poured and cured sufficiently to allow the removal of the scissor lift pit form work.

I had been thinking what I could use the the pits for if something went wrong with the hoist group buy.

I was thinking the same thing as Mike. The hoists & Scissor lifts should be ready to ship any day now. I bloody hope so anyway. I dont want to be buried in Jons garage!

I am so jealous John. My garage is so small I can hardly get out of the car without hitting the door.

Steve, no need to worry, the pits will be used for the scissor lift or my fall back idea of giant ice buckets.
