Yeah, my apologies for the delayed response, I was busy putting the dash back together so I could go.. didnt respond till I had it together again. It was just good timing as, for once, I wasnt working.

I have been thinking, and i am going to go minimalist. A rolling shell is interesting, but i will drop my block in, bare.

i might throw the grill and hood on. Having an open hood invites people to look inside.

True.

Only time i have seen a project at a show was to sell it, so i better get some Not For Sale signs made up.

I want to get a story going about the car, other than "i bought it off ebay and pulled it apart..."

Any ideas for a display board?

I was talking to Birchy about this, I still have all the bits i cut off my car, and some sills and rear torque box from Mikes car he could display, they would be good to lay on the grass to have a close look at.
Also before photos of car and repair sections removed in an album or plastic binders including pictures of sections.
I was thinking my convertible would be a good display on its overlander HQ chassis dolly with the new floor in and the dash, one of the rear 1/4 removed (as is now) and all the new panels on the ground.

Dont think i will be taking the Fastback at this stage, i have started work on it again but ill have to see how much time i get in the shed.
I also have the Caddy on the water and should be able to collect it in 4-5 weeks, i really want to make an effort to get it regoed asap.

yes, a before and after picture. The captions could read "bought it off ebay" and "pulled it apart".
Dont worry about a not for sale sign, someone may make an offer you wont refuse.

Please display your car at the Nats in Perth, there are a number of people coming from the east coast and we are anticipating a large attendance by the general public.

If you have not registered your car for display please do so as it assists with planning for the day. NON members and members are welcome to display their cars for FREE. You do not have to have to participate in any form of judging for show n shine.

Every car on display receives a momento from the event.

get your rego form here.....

PS... It should be noted that registrations close on the 31st Jan and ONLY registered entrants will receive a memento. You can still just turn up on the day but spaces are of course going to be limited.
