Didn't have time to catch up with everyone I wanted to jabber with, arrived home hoarse from jabbering too much!! Methinks I jabber too much!! :rotfl:
You forgot the part about winning a trophy...........
by the way, did you forget to collect the box your trophy came in.... if so i know where it is.
Of course a massive congrats must go to Jacko, he was the heart and soul of the success of this show, again, well done big fella
great show guys, and the first one I've ever taken a car to, met some good folks, saw some nice cars, went home and drank beer.... doesn't get much better than that!
BTW, Nuts, don't be too modest. That '67 s-code fastback you pieced together took out best '67-68 and was runner-up for best interior.
Perhaps you were right. I should have opened the remote butterflies on Pink Bits earlier in the day and would have attracted a few more votes. Just hope those two holes the 3 inch dumped exhaust thumped into the turf mend before the next venue inspection. ;-)
Cheers

Thanks to Jacko & H for putting us up. Reciprocation will be once Carol & I am back from the USA .......

Sorry I missed you. Was hoping to catch up but spent too much time jabbering.

One comment that was made that the cars there were all very nice, even the red original fastback which is unrestored.
Unrestored! I drove it there didn't I and that is not how I received it- even polished the roof and bonnet this year. Might look a the rest of the car next time.
You blokes just don't know true beauty when you see it.

I was not putting it down, I actually think it is great that it is still original as far as I can see. Just relaying a comment. What I probably meant was the presentation was very good, not very nice. Semantics
ps, it was noted the bird shit had eaten the paint on the bonnet though, uncared for beast
Look what turned up on the canberra local news tonight. Apologies for the poor quality, I had to tape the news from the ipad. See if u can spot whose car appears in the video. My son makes an appearance at the start. Not sure if I posted this correctly, might need some Hybrid magic to fix, sorry.
