The head gasket will block the water gallery if on arse about. The inlet manifold gasket can go either way. IIRC

It went to the doctors today and i got great news, it seems i jumped the gun just a bit and there is no leaks either way. Oil is free of water and the oily deposits in the radiator are just the Mukout having cleaned the remains of the engine build cleans out of the water jackets.
I must be crazy, i feel like a clown. :loopy:
I will get it back home tomorrow and should take it for a drive on Sat. I will do a bit of work on it this week as i am sure many are doing getting ready for the Nats.
I hope to see you all down there.
Mine isn't finished but i can't wait for the weekend.
Good luck for everyone getting ready for this weekend.
I can't wait to see your cars

Just a little update.
I have been working and saving beyond the school fees etc to finally book in the LO2 for next week.
I should move it through to interior, tyres and rego also.
I think they call this delayed gratification :joy:

Another update
I am getting the a/c finished Mon, then interior is Tues/Wed and LO2 for Thurs. The tyres might scrape through the RWC so i will see then rego so i just can't believe it is all coming to a head.
I won't know what to do with myself, driving it will be a pretty good start.

I have just taken on a new job which gets me off the tools and into an office starting soon so things are changing. I might even take it to work once in a while as i won't need my work trailer.

Thanks for all the help i have received which has been plenty, (blackthunder70) sent me a part i was in dire straits trying to locate last year. Times like that have been so helpful. I certainly don't have the skill to get through what i have without the knowledge of all that have helped me so thank you.
Hope you are all having a great weekend

The dream is registered!!!!!!!!!
I don't believe it, the greatest thing about it was the lady took my value for duty as what i paid for the car- $900 back in 1995, i had the receipt with me for her. It was her call, all i could think of when she came outside to inspect the vin was "that shaker alone is worth that"
Anyway thanks to her i can feed the kids this week AND register my pride and joy.
So happy right now ahhhhhhhhh :)
