I saw the funding shortfall, so was happy to repeat my donation.
Once its up and running and people use it, i think the loot will come flowing in.
I'm skint now as mother has gone shopping for our 4 cyclone refugees, who just drove through Mackay.
They will be here for a late tea, but everyone will be home and safe and thats what matters

It's getting a bit frustrating to be honest. 30 hours work and no code to be seen yet. Good thing they are cheap or I would be swinging punches.

If we get to break-even once it's finished I will remove the donation block.
It might even get to the point where I finish it off myself if I'm not happy with what they are doing.

I don't even own an iphone but we can't let Jeff pay out of his own pocket to help grow the sight.

A couple of guys have put in $50 each, and some donated more than once.
About a dozen people have donated.

But I don't want to pressure people about it. It was my choice to do it, and maybe some people would prefer to donate after they use the app on the phone and find it useful.

Ok, some good news.
I've managed to get one of the guys who developed this website system to take a look at our app.
Hopefully he lets me know over the weekend if he thinks he will be able to help, and if so I will suspend the project with the other devs. I'd rather pay this guy who knows this website inside out. I think we'll definitely get further.

I'd say hold off at the moment until we see how things pan out. The difference is $140 or so at the moment and I'm more than happy to cover that.

Ok, I've had a reply from this guy and he wants to finish off the plugin for free because he wants me to release it to the public so everyone can enjoy it.

Can't be any more fair than that eh.
I really wish I had have found this guy to start with, but nobody seemed willing to help at first.

So I think I will remove the donation block now and just square up whatever if left.
