Got the dash painted up. I went with gloss because the shop didn't have any semi. I actually don't mind it, so I think I'll keep it.
The flash ruins the picture.. I'll try and get another one without flash.

Where's the AOD mate?

Rebuilt the power steering control valve today. It's not too hard to do, so hopefully I got it right!

Hey Jeff, keep that silicone away from the shed. It will create havoc when trying to paint the car.

If getting it done in a shop, let them know it has been around as they will really have to wash the body down well. 8O

Picked up the AOD this morning.
Needs a bit of a clean, but should come up fine. I'll probably send it away to get checked over and then paint it up.

Hey Hybrid, are you going to paint as is when cleaned or are you going to deburr it before the paint is applied. What do people normally do???
Cheers.

I'll just clean it up with some degreaser and then some wire brushes and paint it. Unless it was for a show car, nobody sees it anyway.

Give it a basic clean & then get the auto trans place to clean it again. They normally have the correct gear to clean them.

This may seem a bit out there.. but im told it works a treat...
If you want to keep alloy surfaces clean, without painting... soak them in Mr Sheen.. Stops oil and cr@p soaking into the surface..

Mr Sheen = straight silicone. I mentioned silicone in an earlier post.
