And the Lord said, forgive those that dare to desecrate the Fastback, they know not what they are doing. Unless of course you are the Steve and work at our mother the Blessed St Mary’s. The Fastback is holy and my car of choice if the cart and donkey are in the shop.

The Lord confided: There will be the jealous, the envious and those who just don’t get it. However, the Fastback will not be defeated and will come back once more, straight and red- for there is but only one colour (we will accept the candy variety at a pinch).

Blessed are the fastbacks and those that repair and care for them! So sayeth the Lord.

Can do just about everything with confidence but know f'all about paint & panel. My shoulders start aching as soon as I see wet & dry.

I would love for you to spend some time in my shop in a few months. Hellanor needs a wiring harness installed

Most of it isnt that "hard" the biggest hurdle is having the right equipment. Also being methodical & doing things in a certain order. The tricky bit is when they are bent & trying to unbend them, even that is mostly following a process, having the gear & knowing how to use it. Painting is more a black art, by that the prep is just time & process. Getting a nice finish consistantly off the gun is something you have or you dont.

One of the usual issues when you fix a car this way is you find all the hidden rust that wouldnt normaly be seen. Makes it better cause it gets fixed. Just takes longer.
