As far as your oil pressure gauge/fan issue, I'd concentrate on the earth side rather than the power side. Start with the battery negative to body circuit first - most problems occur with a poor earth there 1st.

I will try a wire from the batt to earth first then, and see if it makes a diff. I was thinking that the power wire for the guage must be hooked into the same wire as the AC hence when I turn the fan on for AC it drops voltage to the oil guage?? Will have a look in the next day or so and see whats going on.
