The car had its first full service and tune up today, so we just wanted it to be all good for the roadworthy and LO2 next week so we can go for a cruise next weekend.

Plan now is for me to just finish tidying up a couple of things this weekend such as:

1. Finish fitting up the air plenum and vent tubes plus the cable to the control panel for the defroster. Should only take about 25 minutes
2. Re-mount the horns as we just cleaned re-painted and adjusted them tonight.
3. Continue staring, polishing and sitting in it all weekend pissing off the misses but who cares!!

 :headbang:

Well all tasks that were set for the day are done.

Also fixed the gear indicator light in the centre console --- man what a bitch to get right….taking it out was easy peezy, but getting it all back together …feel a bit embarrassed with the language l used out of frustration but fu*k it.

Every time l went to put it back together and screw down the console the plastic clip rod for the light housing kept popping out from the gear stick……then figured the reason why it was not working, was that it was put in incorrectly in the first place, so l then feed it in from the passenger side of the console …now works like a dream.

What a sense of satisfaction!!

L02 , roadworthy and Rego Monday …should have it back by Wed – Thursday ……Yahooooooooooooooooo

Well the car is down at Dave Walsh's workshop at Underwood getting the LO2 and roadworthy done. It left on the tow trailer this morning ..looking really terrific.

Called in the Dave's this afternoon around 3.45 for 15 min to make sure all was ok for pick on Thursday and only got away about 4.50pm

Man he was on for a chat - seems like Dave has traveled a bit in the states too and we kept swapping stories.

Have no doubt he is a great bloke and will take good care of us.

Rego - Thursday arvo at this stage!!
