We touched down at SYD at 9.15 this morning. I think it will be a while before we can get our heads in "Aussie" or "home" mode.....

Anyway back to the trip, Steve has posted what the first couple of days were like & some more highlights are here....

It was good to be back in the old haunts & catch up with those still over there. The expats in DG party hard... !

Well it probably beats the massage you get in Turkey. All is good until a big hairy male walks in to give you the massage. (By the way I have never been to Turkey).

Bloody awsome trip. Made some new friends, typically I have finally got the 2 way translator worked out now we are home. At least I can now translate the SMS I have gotten. Our friends in China are happy we have arrived back in Australia safely.

For those that haven't been China is a must. It's like going to another world & the people are fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

Bloody awsome trip. Made some new friends, typically I have finally got the 2 way translator worked out now we are home. At least I can now translate the SMS I have gotten. Our friends in China are happy we have arrived back in Australia safely.

For those that haven't been China is a must. It's like going to another world & the people are fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

I Couldn't agree more Steve what a great experience it was . I think I've got a bad case of Jet-Lag or possible Yellow Fever as I am struggling to work out where the hell I am and why i can't hear any car horns. Rob and I finally got home around 8pm last night and should be ready for a return trip by the end of the week if that suits, just need a couple of days for the ribs to recover from all the laughing (or is that the side effects from drinking large Quantities of Chinese Beer from vegimite glasses)

Also good to know that you have been in touch with the friends we made in China.

Now I have a decent internet connection I worked out I could cut & paste from the translator into an sms & visa versa. The conversation is now 2 way, would have been bloody handy over the last week. Better late than never though. You booked the tickets yet? I am good to go, cant waste that leftover bottle of JD sitting at Hollywood Baby, I am also over pushing myself around again

The food was interesting to say the least, cant say I have ever eaten goose guts until last week. Wasn't to bad, all the food was pretty good but the Abalone was to die for.
