The body looks good Bas. Certainly better than the last one. You are still not going to get an accurate quote once the body is blasted. Once you blast it work needs to comence so it doesnt rust. All you will do is cost yourself more long term. Bite the bullet, decide exactly what you want done & just get it done. The rough costings I gave you are where you will end up, dont make it harder on yourself than it has to be.

Get a few other shops to give you an "estimate" in the state it is now in. Pick who you want to use & get it done.

THE PHANTOM!
Looong time buddy!.....which part of the world are you at these days?
That pic kills me, it seems so so long ago, but it was only in 2009/10?...
Not sure about "grass hopper" but I sure feel a little wiser having been through it once before.

Agree with Steve, no matter how you go about it, you will still spend the dollars he told you it will cost.

However if stuff something up or loose parts, that will cost more.

Better & more cost effective to let professionals handle the whole job

G'day Bas,

Have been working in Mexico for a while but am leaving tomorrow for London. Working on the Olympics over there and then back to Qatar and Eygpt for a while. Hopefully back in Aus in September but may end up working in the States for a while with some new business ventures. Left Australia last November, missing the 4 wheeled toys big time.

Keep the pics coming.

Still thinking of a GT500 restomod.
Right now I'm putting a list of parts required.

1) wiring harness, currently no wiring at all, any suggestions and price?
2) Procar bucket seats: again suggestions and price?
3) Deluxe black interior kit
I'm sure this list will grow....
If you can think off any 'nice to have' products, apart from drivetrain, please feel free to share.

If you are using for wedding car, forget the Procar seats. Too hard to get in & out especially people in suits or dresses.
