How do these things go in terms of flex. Does the paint end up cracking or are they sturdier than they look?

No, they're pretty good, Lee. The oil leaks add a flexibility to the paint and timber. It's win, win, really..!

I would think the oil leaks help stave off the rust and borers.

Hopefully the final painting will be tomorrow. Maybe some assembly on Wednesday (my time) & pull the string on the engine maybe Thursday ..... :joy:
