What else is there?

Wheels.......will decide later, depends which way I go, whether Eleanor or GT500 restomod.

Drivetrain will also be decided on later, after the body is sorted.

Please feel free to add to the list including prices if you know them.

Are you going to use the RRS gear?

I think I will, I don't want to sell it and then try and get the TCP stuff.....
I have all this gear here, I might as well use it.

Id just use it unless you wanted to recoup some loot, you could buy repro ford front end kit of arms etc for like $300.

I didn't like the RRS rear end. I found it too bulky. I went with a Heidts rear. But in restrospect, Unless I was racing the car, i'd leave it stock.

As for the front, I have fitted the RRS Phase 2 uprights and rack. It's been a PITA to get set up the way I want and there have been many times when I wished I hadn't done it.

I don't have the rear, just the front end and phase 2 disk brake system.

OK, i've decided to sell the RRS suspension parts I have and go with new/original mustang suspension.

Any ideas on how much it is to replace the whole front suspension to original stuff?.....is there different kinds or it one kind fits all?

Apologies if at any stage of this build I ask dumb questions, with the last build I just gave it to Steve and he took care of everything, I mean EVERYTHING, it was towed in, driven out with rego!

I'd like to tackle it a little differently this time, not so much the actual work, which as Kerry said, leave it to the professionals, but more on educating myself on the parts, how they work etc..etc...

To give you an idea, I only learnt how to change the oil, oil filter, flush radiator on my mustang for the first time last week. To some that may be nothing, but it felt rewarding to get in there and do some work on the car even if its just a minor service.....(as well as saved some $$ on labour)

Does that mean I have to get rid of the RRS PHASE 2 brake setup as well?....or can it still be used?

ye, it's still all on the car, not sure of the condition, I'd say it'll need replacing...not sure.
I guess it'll have to wait until it gets stripped down then we can check the condition.

ok! This is what I have:

http://www.rrs-online.com/phase2products.php

...and it states that "(All brake kits need to be accompanied by the
RRS Strut coil-over kit )"

So, looks like the whole lot (as Kerry suggested) will be sold.

Decide what you need to replace, a kit of new arms, spring purches caster bushes etc, will be about $300 US, set of Kings KFFL0 springs and if you don't have factory discs on it go get some Falcon ones, for $60 and freshen them up. Do the normal mods to the caster bar spacers, & give plenty of caster etc it will be fine.
