The close off time for nominations to fill positions on the Executive Committee was 4:00PM 13th August 2014. You are invited to participate in the voting to install the MOCA Executive Committee for the year ending 30th June 2015.
Voting is open to members who are financial through to 30th June 2015 or beyond.
There is one vote to one membership. ie, a couple noted on the one membership has only one vote.
Postal Vote Close Off Date
12:00 Noon 20th August 2014. Note, this date has been extended beyond 18th August to allow time for delivery of the Pony Express.
How To Vote
1 via post to the Secretary at PO Box 289, St Ives NSW 2075 but must be posted in time to be received by the postal vote close off date. Include your name and address and signature.

3 Come to the AGM and vote in person on the night
What to do
Note, this is slightly different from the detail in the August Pony Express which has been necessary due to the multiple nominations received.
To ensure no misreading, please print clearly print words rather than numbers - either will suffice as long as it is clear.
Where there are two candidates, we only need your first preference but, the inclusion of your second preference will ensure there is no misunderstanding.
Where there are five candidates, mark each candidate in order of your preference from one through to five.
Be sure to include your name, address and signature (except for email voting where your email will be used to authenticate the vote).

Re: Running for President of MOCA NSW
doesnt really matter,
no one will likely get the newsletter before the election unless they live in sydney suburbs..
out of curiosity- how many MOCA members here actually did receive the email??
I got it and it was the first email i have received from MOCA in 5/6 years and i believe only because i made a point of prompting one of the committee, although he did confirm that they did indeed have my email address on file.
It was suggested that they may normally end up in my spam folder... i checked and No they dont.

thanks gmg.
im just really curious as to email from MOCA, god knows what i may have missed out on in the past.
Im not trying to point blame at anyone in particular at MOCA, just a possible failure in their IT delivery.

Re: Running for President of MOCA NSW
Got it today. I can't remember ever getting an email from them before.
Was it just me or was it quite a confusing email also. A lot of words.

"The simple answer is, even if I have decided I still don't know what to do."
Re: Running for President of MOCA NSW
thats because it was in MOCA talk and not Mustang Tech
Re: Running for President of MOCA NSW
It was quite confusing, some of the old guard have nominated for 'general' positions which is a good ploy to hold onto power by numbers.
I do believe that in reality peoples should only nominate for one spot. Although the constitution says that except for the President and Vice President any other Committee Member can hold 2 spots.
The National Delegate is a different thing altogether purely representing the club at that level.
It is now all about the voting and who believes in what.
People DO not have to vote for anyone they do not want to.
For example in the put your choice (1) only where there are 2 people and in the General committee MARK 1,2,3 only
Have fun and respect the outcome....
Cheers Lance

The word "swims" upside-down is still "swims".
