Thanks. Just saw the config mode instruction in the Param Ed pdf.

Jeff - is the xxxx in the above SMS command the PIN set on the device or is it a literal "xxxx"

Or are you just suggesting we need to give it some love to maybe make it respond 😆

Pin always comes first.

Latest Beta version of Meitricks has support for the VT600 trackers I'm testing.
Now that all the coding is done for the new trackers, I will temporarily install it to a car and do some driving to see how it performs.

If all goes well, I'll bring some in for those of you who are still looking for a tracker.

Driving is going well.
I also realised today when I was using the test tracker that the Meitricks app did not have the ability to select a second tracker on the history page.
I have fixed this now for those lucky folk who have more than one car worth tracking. When you hit the button to bring up the calendar, it will also bring up a drop down list to select a different tracker that belongs to your account.

Due to the way that the VT600 tracker responds to GPRS commands, the VT600 version of the GPRS server can be a bit smarter.
When the tracker responds to the command with either an accept or reject, I'm now able to send a confirmation email to let the user know that their command was successful.
On the meitrack devices, you can only check the command queue to see what has been removed (when successful).

Sounds like your having some fun doing this project. Good for sleepless nights.

Seriously though.... I'm working my way thru it with the best tech support available and figuring it out. Not using SMS for the VT600 and just seeing how the alerts go now that I figured out how to switch them on from the website.

Still need to get the Parameter Editor working though and hook up some extra wires on inputs / outputs!
