I am flying with soc (Hagar the Horrible) to Hong Kong and Philippines next Friday (20th).

We will be doing a similar trip to what I did with Boof last April including the Dawn Service on the 25th.

I would also like to get soc to Corregidor as I know he would enjoy it.

Selected pics and censored write up to follow ..........

Sorry, been slack with the pics. Must load them to Photobucket & put the link here.

However, in the meantime, some YouTube vids made on us while we were in Bohol (2 hour ferry ride from Cebu City) a couple of weeks back.

If you like, please subscribe to their channel (cost is 0) & that gives them some funding (very small) from the ads & allows more vids to be produced. This couple do amazing work in building houses for the poor & also get kids to school. I am heading back there late September to fix a few "auto related" issues in their vehicles & convert a motorcycle so a guy who just lost his leg, can again, ride it.

There are more, but mainly where we just get mentioned. There will be quite a few done when I am there next as Terence is quite interested in seeing how things are done.

Make sure you read the comments, some are quite funny, especially the ladies that follow the vids trying to work out if we are available or not ....... :rotfl2:

I am heading back to Cebu and Bohol in the Philippines on Sunday. I will be working over there for the next 3 weeks with the couple in the videos I posted above.

If you keep track of the YouTube channel (subscription is free) that is posted above, you will get many updates as to what I am doing.

The motorcycle modification will be a highlight to see him be able to ride it again. The mods have been something that a bunch of my friends and I have worked on for the last 2 months with many changes in that time.

Boofhead and I discussed the disparity of people in Asia regularly on our trips together and it is neat that I can finally do something positive over there.

Then back to Hong Kong for a week with Mrsozbilt who will fly up to meet me after my time in Bohol.

Now in Hong Kong with Mrsozbilt after my 3 weeks of working in the Philippines.

Carol flew up to meet me after I had finished in Bohol. I had a very rewarding trip that I hope, made a difference in some people's lives. It is so neat to have the opportunity to help those that need it most. It is the land of smiles and not only do they make you welcome, but really appreciate what you do for them.

The motorcycle conversion went brilliantly and actually allowed him and his girlfriend to start a business, quite a feat for a guy with one leg amputated and possibly with little more than 12 months to live.

That left me time to fix a few other of the vehicles that the couple, I was helping, use.

I will load pictures and videos when I get back next weekend.

In the meantime, if you click on the YouTube video's I posted earlier and subscribe (costs nothing) you can the find all those that show what I have been doing.

Not really my "travels", but thanks to hybrid, cage and gbx78 for coming to visit the Duggo ranch on Sunday.

Cars looked great and woke the neighborhood. We had a look around the shed, discussed work in progress and then headed off after a cuppa.

Thanks you guys for coming over.
