A very enjoyable, but sometimes emotional, task. Good news is it is being led by great people and I have hooked back up with many guys that were in Apex with me back some 30 years ago.
I guess the cream always floats to the top.
Mrsozbilt just said " but how does that explain Kerry?"

Our, once small but getting larger by the minute, recovery center is now also looking after the NSW south coast fire impacted residents.

We have now banned "dignitaries" and TV cameras as the media stuffs everything up. Basically we have told those that swan up and grab the limelight to piss off. That includes so called government departments and contractors.

Well, the lock down shut us down for a while at the recovery center, but with a lot of help from our local state member, had us classified as an "essential service" and we reopened a few weeks back.

Now we are relocating all the donated items (clothing, bedding, toys and tools) to Nowra on the NSW south coast. Once we have the locals down there set up, then we can step back and rest a little. It has been great making a difference and look forward to seeing that repeated on the south coast.

I will be down there this week for initial meetings with the area men's shed members.

BTW, Coates Hire have been awesome. They provided 2 containers full of stuff for "free" hire. Things like chainsaws, blowers, wheelbarrows etc.

They are also moving all our containers down to Nowra at no cost to us. :like:

You won't want to go home after being on the Sunny South Coast.

Where has the time gone? Still trying to get over losing relative's and good mates.

Mrsozbilt and I will be traveling around locally (think NSW) until late February when we go to the USA then Panama.

Spent my time in lockdown, looking after the men's sheds in my zone and have now become real busy with them reopening.

My spare time has been watching YouTube and here are a couple of links ....

Finally allowed to travel again .... :joy:

Now back in California after a journey that took in Texas, Louisiana then a Disney Cruise to Columbia, the Panama Canal, Mexico (Puerto Vallarta & Carbo San Lucas) then onto San Diego.

Been servicing our 2004 Ford Explorer that has basically sat around for 2 years. Our daughter drives a Tesla so why would she pay for fuel to drive a V8?

Off to catch up with Sean (Bosskraft) in Nevada to see what he is up to. Then back to CA to work on another MG TC and a Datsun 240Z that has been in storage for 45 years.

Keen. Have been talking about this with Cage and GBX. It's been way too long.
How long are you around for?
