Tim's 65 vert (Caroline)
Well it has finally arrived.
Picked the car up on Friday, but due to telstra's incompetence we have no internet at home, so have had to wait till I get to work to post a thread.
Car is a 65 vert, possibly an A code but no data plates so not sure how much info I can get just from the vin? Cost $6000 US not including all fees etc to get it shipped over here.
It is my first real project so I know I have a lot of work ahead of me, but i am looking forward to the challenge and will undoubtedly have an endless number of dumb questions for you guys. Hopefully with some hard work and help from you guys one day my mustang will be full of awesome.
I've put some pics below because I know how much we all like the pics
And I know how much we all like shiny new parts

Re: Tim's 65 vert
Nice. Go for it mate, but at least put on some workshop safety thongs!
Re: Tim's 65 vert
Thanks guys
Pete I will keep it fairly original but not concours, if that makes sense.
JC the budget changes each day depending on what mood the boss is in. At the end of the day whatever it costs to get it to my satisfaction is what I am willing to pay.
Nuts you wouldn't believe it looking at the photos but when we unloaded it from the trailer it absolutely pissed down so everything got drenched and the safety thongs were slipping around more then bare feet.

You'll be suprised how good they come up after a super duper detail, and a buff.
Cheers.

My mates joked with me it just needed a good cut and polish when they saw it.
