Water Blaster

Post by 66ROX »

Not quite a car project but its the closest thing to mechanics I've come in about a year since the new bub decide to go mental and scream the house down for the past 10 months with colic (wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy).

The blaster stopped with a grinding halt after blasting for about 2 hours straight.
After pulling it down i found a bearing inside the pump area that had zero grease in it. It actually looks like it never had grease in it. The bearing looks pretty shagged but I can't get a new one for it, so after a quick repack with grease I spent the next 1.5 hrs trying to remember where all the different screws went.

Fired it up this arvo and it appears to be working fine again. How long the bearing holds up who knows. :joy:

Isnt the saying that sometimes the most permanent fix is a temporary one?

Good work on the fix up job.
