OK... So finally I have finished working stupid hours working on merging with our parent company.. we are now the largest law firm globally..
So with that done, I have taken some much needed time off and hope to get stuck into both my cars...
About 4 months ago I came across this reasonable tidy, but seriously neglected 4x4 Courier ute at my brothers workshop. Basically it was a writeoff mechanically. Which is why I picked it up dirt cheap.
In what little spare time I've had over the last few months.. with the help of my brother, we got the ute back on the road and I brought it home a couple of weeks ago.

Re: FUTEL
Todays task, was to fix up the intercooler...
It looks as though the previous owners had hit something soft (like sand) but hit it hard..
The intercooler was pretty much stuffed for airflow.
Close up
So with some patience, and finally some time.. I started straighting all the fins out.. each row had to be addressed twice.. once to open up the leading edge of the fin, and again to make sure it was inline with the rest of the core..
After first pass
Forgot to take one of it done.. but you can see it will flow a lot better now.
Tools used to do it:
Now, to take the cover off the Mustang and go for a drive (first one in months !!)

Re: FUTEL
Hahah I agree that our generation is lazy, and society is very much now a "throw away society" as opposed to previous generations where fixing the broken parts was the better option.

Four Yorkshiremen
The sketch was originally written and performed for the 1967 British television comedy series "At Last the 1948 Show" by the show's four writer-performers: Tim Brooke-Taylor, John Cleese, Graham Chapman and Marty Feldman.
Then the rest of the Python gang did it again....
