First the seat, got the kids going on that with some pliers they removed the hog rings with me.

found this manufacturing tag underneath, might find an old photo frame for it for the Shrine

Then this weekend past, Mike and I collected the project in the old man's ute and stripped it and cut it in 2.... and it looks like this - and that is as far as we got before returning it to its temp resting place

thanks to Mike for allowing me to use his tools time and expertise.... oh and for allowing me to distract him from his project and the trip to the wildlife park with the rest of the family.....
