project - Green with........

Post by envy66 »

Hi Everyone.
Though some might like to see a couple of snaps of my (read daughter and wife's) 66 coupe project. It's not too far away now, We brought it with the RHD conversion and painted. we have put new wiring in, new rear springs, currently having the seats re done as well as the brakes and getting the motor going. just put in a new radiator and thermo fan. there are a few new shinny parts.
it's a 289 Windsor with a C4 auto.
It's been sitting for too long at the mechanics ( they only do bit's and pieces when there is no other work) but I thinks it's time to put on a surge and get it finished....so I can get that 67 fastback.
My wife doesn't think that's to bad for a Holden fan....I guess I just like good muscle cars.
The photo's aren't the best as taken on my phone.

Looks good!
That radiator looks tiny, but I guess its only the baby 289 in there.

Just thought I might put a couple of shots of my project..It's inching closer to completion..lots of fiddly bits left...hoping to have it on the road at the end of my holidays in a couple of weeks.
have added a personal touch to my seats.

Hi Chillichad.
I made the logo up - mixed up of a couple that I had seen.
I had a local embrodery service stich the logo onto some seat vinal and then a local upholsterer put the new foams and covers on.
I'm happy with the result.
