Black 1969 Mach 1

Well, the hunt is finally over and I am now the proud owner of a 1969 Mach 1. After 8 months of trawling online ads, both here and the US, this one caught my eye a few weeks ago:
I contacted Matt from Shermatt International immediately, the ad had been on his Facebook page for only an hour or two. After a couple of weeks of Matt dealing with the seller, trying to organize an inspection, he was off with trailer in tow to Alabama. My main criteria since I started looking was that the body work had to be absolutely tip top..... and boy did Matt deliver. He was so impressed with the car that he had organized a professional photo shoot before he even had it home, taking an extra couple of days out of his and Sheri's time. So here's a few photos out of the many I've been given, big thanks to Sheri for posing in the freezing cold.
The car is missing much of the Mach 1 interior trim but is at Sun State Mustangs having this remedied while we wait for import approval. The FMX may need a little love as it slips going into third gear and it needs a 9 inch put into it. Matt and Sheri have been putting a lot of time into this and I can not thank them enough for everything they've done and are still doing.:drunk: Cheers to you both. This photo is my pick of the bunch, thankyou also to the photographer who did all of this just for a hot meal:
And Matt, I believe I owe you a beer for this one:
I hope you all enjoy the pics.
