Accessing MustangTech using Safari

Post by mikes68 »

Any tips or tricks for using Safari to browse this site?

That would be apart from "Don't use Safari to browse this site"

Trying to access the top menu links... interestingly the "Home" menu will drop down the list of options however the remainder of the links ("Community" through to "Web") don't work...

How do you force a page refresh from Safari... I'm just used to hitting theF5 key or the Forums link to go back to the "Todays Posts"

i use it and it works fine.. if reloading the page isnt helping then something is screwed so try removing your cache, cookies etc ..under the safari menu.. failing all that .. just load chrome etc. or even see if there is an update for safari, if there is it will reset the installation.. but id say its a local content issue on ur mac. give it a go anyway

EDIT: when i say reload i mean ⌘R .. F5 wont refresh your page in safari.

You can actually place links on your menu bar. There are some good tutorials on the apple site that will show you how to do anything.

It's all I've ever really used to navigate around.

Hey Mike , if problems persist , try downloading/using FireFox (from Mozilla) web browser. That's what I use on my PC & iMac. Can't stand Safari or Internet explorer.

Yep. I only use Firefox (occasionally Chrome) but never IE.

That is funny..... :rotfl:

I was taught to use a computer in a Mac class back in the 1980's, once I got a handle on that I went to the other side & have not looked back.... :dance2:
