New Garage project
I ran out of space to work on cars and have enough storage space, so my cars are now in storage and I've commenced on the new garage (shed). Its taken a number of months of site prep and the weather has been against me, but last weekend the new garage started taking shape.
65 GT, off the rotisserie. cars in storage while building new garage.
Re: New Garage project
It will be a nice shed, however you will just find more crap to store in there .... Like why should you be any different to the rest of us ....

Hi Kerry,
3m wall height and 4m in the middle will be a lot better than the old place. If I ever put a car back on the rotisserie, I wont have to raise the roof with props so I can rotate the car.
cheers
Jon

Re: New Garage project
Looking good Jon, you wont know yourself.
I remember the overwhelming feeling of awesomeness when i once had a nice new concrete slab,, like a clean slate to plan work benches, shelving, where you can put the sand blasting cabinet, trolley jack, welder etc.......
Only later to DESECRATE with burnt rubber, oil , dust and then piles of crap you will never get to sort out. :rotfl:
BTW its the 2 daily family cars that stay outside battling the weather, the Mustang project, caravan and the many pre 70s project collection wrecks and spare parts are under cover
Its ok im planning on another shed for the daily drivers and umm maybe other additions

How true, its a case of drawing straws to which 2 cars stay in the rain ATM, and thats with a 16m x 9m shed , 16X8 leanto and a 9x6 carport.ozbilt wrote:It will be a nice shed, however you will just find more crap to store in there .... Like why should you be any different to the rest of us ....
