WHAT'S NUTS BEEN UP TO?
My God, the Cave's Empty!
Well Guys, 18 months ago I took on a job to assemble a 67FB for a friend. I expected it to take 6 months. Ha! Ha! :rotfl:
The car is a genuine GT390 with all the toys bar AC. I received the car as a painted shell and a mountain of parts of which 50% were missing. Why do I take on these jobs where someone else pulled it apart.
Unfortunately, the owner was not keen to share this build on the forum but it's finished now so here's some pics I took today.

Now what? MMM.. I have 4 engines to build. 3 transmissions and a T5 to rebuild. Blue needs some love. Green needs a lot of love. The missus wants the house painted. So I guess it's painting time...

That looks like it turned out really nice. I hope the owner is happy with it after all the trauma prior to you taking charge of it.

Re: WHAT'S NUTS BEEN UP TO?
Thanks Guys for your nagging.. Is it done yet? Yes it's bloody done J!!
Got the stripes n GT badges to go on after the painter cuts and buffs it.
The last 5% took nearly 6 months.
For info, Scott Drake has just released a repo 67 GT390 air cleaner which is supposed to be as close to the original as you can get. One of those will tidy up the engine compartment nicely.

Damn that looks good.
Re: WHAT'S NUTS BEEN UP TO?
Hi Darryl
Looks great. I take it the dash issue was sorted by the voltage regulator?
Might drop down on the weekend to return the stamps, swap a regulator and check out the car. Please tell me you still have it!
