my last Mustang..

after this restoration i might take a few years off. like 20.

68 GT J-code fastback, San Jose car, LA DSO.
302W redone as a 347 SCAT stroker with Edelbrock heads/intake
Holley 670 VacSec
Ceramic coated long-tube headers
tricked C4
9" rebuilt with trac-lok
restored instrument cluster with 6K tach
upper and lower consoles
rebuilt original AM radio
shelby steering wheel (the 68 wheels suck)
Vintage Air AC (stock look)
rebuilt stock brakes (yeah, i know...)
new rollerised uppers/lowers/strut rods/idler (from opentrackerracingproducts.com .. brilliant kit)
new KYB shocks
new 1" lowered springs
Torq-thrust Original wheels with 225/60/15 T/A's
gonna keep the original deluxe interior (was thinking about ScatPro Rally seats)
All new shiny bits

its going to be kept candyapple red.
old MOCWA member. plenty of grey hair. grumpy old crust..

Hey Brian... Looks nice. So how long have you had that one? Did you pick it up as a part resto or have you done it all yourself?

now we have a 68 coupe, vert, and fastback project in perth!

Owned it for about 13 years. Was a solid driver when I first bought it but I've gone through it top to bottom
